The Rolling Stone’s guitarist Keith Richards once described rock and roll as “music for the neck downwards.” Rock has been a great way to connect with people, and has been a big part of many people’s lives. No matter whether your favorite band is the Beatles, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Nirvana, or Tool, it’s all rock music and it’s all great.
Some people go beyond just listening to rock, and actually start playing it for themselves, and lessons can greatly improve their abilities. Whether you can already play the solo in “Free Bird”, or if you just learned “Smoke on the Water”, working with someone else can always improve your ability.
If you’d like to improve your playing ability on any instrument, then the Time to Jam event at Coffey Music may be just what you need.
Coffey Music is a locally owned and longstanding music store on Main Street in Westminster, MD. They sell guitars and instruments of all shapes and sizes, including woodwinds, brass, percussion and many varieties of strings.
Who let the dogs out? Gage Lanza, that’s who! Gage picked up this beautiful parts-caster today! Jazzy Davis Lanza approved!
In addition to being Westminster’s premier music store, they also offer lessons with a variety of teachers and focuses. Lessons like the Time to Jam event.
Time to Jam!
This is a little bit different than other lessons given out at Coffey Music, as it is a group class. The idea of the class is to help teach rhythm, dynamics, improvising, and how to play with others.
Classes start on Tuesday February 19th, 2019 and run from 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm. For more information or to register please contact the classes teacher Chris James at chris(Sorry, please remove this text and add the normal symbol.)christopherjames.com or 410-812-9446.
